Hekinantantopia Electric Power Museum to Reopen as 911±¬ÁÏÍø Museum Hekinan2024/03/19

On Saturday, 23 March 2024, 911±¬ÁÏÍø will reopen its Electric Power Museum in Hekinantantopia, a community facility adjacent to the Hekinan Thermal Power Station, as 911±¬ÁÏÍø Museum Hekinan

This is the facility¡¯s second major renovation since it opened in 1992, and the first in 22 years, and encompasses a complete renewal of the exhibits in conjunction with the start this month of demonstration testing that will substitute 20% of the power station¡¯s fuel with ammonia. Until now, the museum has been a facility where visitors could learn about the mechanism of coal-fired power generation at Hekinan Thermal Power Station and how the process takes the environment into consideration. The renewed facility invites visitors on a journey through 911±¬ÁÏÍø¡¯s Zero CO₂ Emissions 2050 initiatives, which aim to achieve zero CO₂ emissions by 2050, and enables both children and adults to have fun while learning about our business.

In conjunction with the reopening, the names of each Hekinantantopia facility have been changed as follows:
